Coveo is looking for Software Developer interns to join our teams in Research & Development. Your mission? Help to build the foundation that supports large-scale, reliable services for customers across the globe.
As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to join one of the following teams:
- The Infrastructure team provides and maintains the base infrastructure needed to run Coveo’s Cloud services. The team is responsible for tasks such as how the network is designed, how it’s deployed.
- The Platform Engineering - CI/CD team develops deployment tools to improve day-to-day efficiency of other development teams, all through a DevOps mindset.
Your impact, day to day:
- Engage actively in daily stand-up meetings to discuss progress, roadblocks, and plans. Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Manage and resolve assigned Jira tickets, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Contribute to real-world projects that will be implemented for Coveo's clients. This can include coding, testing, and deploying solutions that meet customer requirements and enhance their experience.
- Develop your skills by drawing on your mentor’s expertise. Watch, learn, and apply the best practices, methodologies, and strategies used in project management and software development.
- Take an active role in code review sessions. Offer constructive feedback and receive advice on how to raise the quality of your code, follow best practices and strengthen your programming skills.
The Essentials:
- You are currently studying (preferred study program) a Bachelors degree or higher in the province of Québec.
- You are able to work from one of our offices 2 days a week. Our hybrid work model offers flexibility, you can benefit from face-to-face learning from your team on office days while home days allow you to focus and complete complex work.
- You are available to work full-time for 15 weeks and are legally entitled to do so in Canada.

- You have experience in:
- To join our Infrastructure team: Python, Java, Go, and an interest in infrastructure.
- To join our Platform Engineering - CI/CD team: Python, Github Actions, Terraform, DevOps, CI/CD, Go.
- You have completed an internship in a similar role.
- You have a strong sense of ownership and are proud of what you create.
- You strive to grow and aren't afraid to ask questions.
- You’re passionate about the tech industry and lead with a proactive mindset.
- You’ve participated in some hackathons and/or have a few personal projects.

This role requires you to be in the office full-time, whether it be at our Quebec, Montreal, Weert, or London locations. Our modern infrastructures are designed to enhance cross-team collaboration and promote overall well-being.
Hybrid
Our offices in Quebec City, Montreal, London and Weert are designed to foster collaboration and your well-being. We gather there on our pillar days two times a week to strengthen in-person interactions and encourage creativity, all while providing you with the flexibility of a hybrid environment.
