Empowering the Sales team to shine

Join our Solution Engineering team and make your mark on the Coveo platform! As a Developer turned Solution Engineer, you'll be instrumental in crafting the first impressions of our customers with innovative solutions. Your role involves building, maintaining, and enhancing our demo ecosystem and libraries, utilizing a variety of technologies to captivate and inspire our audience. Concretely, you'll support our field Solution Engineers by developing demo environments and tools, while also delivering impactful demos to commercial accounts, showcasing the power of Coveo solutions. As our Solution Engineer for the Sales teams, you will:

  • Design, Build, Maintain and Innovate centralized demonstrations in our “Field Demo Environment” that are verticalized, flexible and reusable.
  • Identify and Build “tooling,” processes and documentation that will help us operationally do things better, faster, and smarter.
  • Provide support whenever possible to our Field SEs as they “co-quarterback” our Sales campaigns.
  • Enable teammates and colleagues from other teams on tools, techniques, etc. and “rise the tide for all.”
  • Liaise and actively collaborate with our peers in Product, R&D and Solution Architecture to make sure we are always sharing knowledge and exchanging the latest and greatest solutions and best practices.
  • Develop and deliver your own demos for our Commercial accounts including RFX responses, InfoSec questions and Coveo Solution overviews.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in the field as Presales / Sales Engineer / Solution Consultant / Professional Services. You are great at scoping a project and determining key drivers to win a deal.
  • Commerce platform expertise with technical and business requirements discovery experience in an ecommerce context. i.e. SAP, Salesforce, Magento.
  • Strong skills in Frontend (React / HTML/CSS/Javascript) and good Backend skills (Python/Node/Rest/JSON, etc.).
  • Curiosity and Flexibility: priorities change constantly within Sales Engineering – it’s part of the gig, embrace it!
  • Ability to connect with people to both understand their needs/objectives and identify the optimal Coveo Solution for their requirements.

What would make you stand out:

  • Have the ability to take a mockup, cut it up and turn it into a pixel perfect, live site using React/Redux, Material UI, Typescript (or comparable). Any other skills in Graphic design or building POCs and mock-ups are an asset.
  • Experience with all sorts of platforms Coveo may be found in (Commerce pages, Service and Support platforms like Salesforce, ServiceNow, SAP, AEM, Zendesk).
  • Familiarity with search engines: Coveo (of course!), SOLR, Elastic, etc.
  • Good documentation and communication skills.
