Core is our elite team and fusion of complementary skills that, led by our Sales Engineers (our “secret agents”), ensures we are successful on every one of our missions – closing deals, delivering value to our customers and destroying our competition. Instead of guns, exploding pens, rotating license plates and the occasional Aston Martin, we reach for AI, ML, Node, React, Material and Headless frameworks along with the usual cast of cloud and web technologies as our weapons of choice.

As a member of Core your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide support whenever possible to our Field SEs as they “co-quarterback” our Sales Campaigns
  • Design, Build, Maintain and Innovate centralized demonstrations in our “Field Demo Environment” that are verticalized, flexible and reusable
  • Quickly “spawn” custom demonstrations (either from our reusable demos or from scratch) for specific prospects when needed
  • Enable teammates within the SE team on tools, techniques, etc and “rise the tide for all.”
  • Identify and Build “tooling,” processes and documentation that will help us operationally do things better, faster and smarter
  • Enable partners as needed by supporting Alliances with partner demonstrations
  • Support our Customer Management team with demonstrations of new capabilities to existing customers to ensure smooth renewals
  • Directly support our “Product Led Growth” efforts with demonstrations and hands on support for Trial prospects.
  • Liaise and actively collaborate with our peers in Product, R&D and Solution Architecture to make sure we are always sharing knowledge and exchanging the latest and greatest solutions and best practices

More about the profile we are looking for

This role requires a great balance of technical, business and team skills. The ideal candidate would:

  • Have strong front-end web development skills - including HTML/CSS/Javascript
  • Have good backend development skills - Python, Node, REST, JSON, etc
  • Have responsive web design familiarity
  • Be Flexible and Understanding: priorities change constantly within Sales Engineering – it’s part of the gig, embrace it!
  • Be comfortable in a team environment and be able to develop relationships with teammates and peers in other teams
  • Be passionate about technology and keep your skills up to date on all kinds of projects. 

Nice to haves are:

  • Have the ability to take a mockup, cut it up and turn it into a pixel perfect, live site - using React/Redux, Material UI, Typescript (or comparable)
  • Experience with search engines a plus: Coveo (obviously), elastic, SOLR, etc
  • Experience with commerce platforms a plus
  • Experience with service and support platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow and ZenDesk
  • Graphic design skills
  • Experience with building Sales POCs / demos a plus
