Coveo is seeking an energetic, motivated, and ambitious Sales Development Representative (SDR) to prospect and identify new sales opportunities within our current customer accounts across our Service, Workplace lines of business. This role requires a challenger and provocative individual to relentlessly identify new opportunities while working and communicating exceptionally in a highly cross-functional role. While primarily focused on pipeline development through outbound calling, emailing, and strategic outreach this role also requires working with multiple teams internally to continuously source and identify opportunities.
The SDR holds a key and unique position which works closely with sales, customer success, subscription management, technical teams, and marketing to continually grow our customer accounts. You may be the first impression of Coveo, or being introduced warmly through our internal teams to deliver a personalized and highly credible experience, as well as initial sales qualification.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Build pipeline by outbounding to Business and IT decision makers & executives to set discovery calls in a personalized and targeted fashion
- Following up on inbound requests and marketing qualified leads
- Maintain a flawless experience for our customers while uncovering new opportunities
- Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure handoff process is followed
- Continually provide feedback to help refine our strategies and messaging in close collaboration with the Marketing team
- Develop and execute strategies for digital & virtual events hosted by Coveo and third parties in close collaboration with the Marketing and Customer Success team
- Work with Coveo’s Partner & Alliance team to help identify opportunities to collaborate
- Work with Account Executives in North America to progress qualified leads through the sales process
- Leverage the tools and process Coveo has put in place to understand signals in the market and within our customer base to build new pipeline
- Be a Coveo evangelist by demonstrating a deep understanding of the platform, our competitive differentiators, and the value we provide our customers
- Stay up to date on trends in the industry and marketing developments in the industry

- Charisma: To earn support, trust, and develop long-term partnerships
- Time Management: Ensuring a balance of time working with the internal teams to understand signals and keep communication strong, while executing on the outbound strategies to build a strong pipeline
- Flawless English; and no, being functional is NOT sufficient
Nice to haves:
- Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem and Salesforce CRM
- Familiarity with enterprise business software
- Account-based selling and buyer-centric messaging experience
- Being comfortable working with remote teams
- Sales & account management experience
