As a Senior Data Analytics Developer you will play a key role in transforming raw data into actionable insights. You’ll leverage your analytical skills to ensure that the right data is captured, modeled, and analyzed to drive meaningful outcomes. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams to define data requirements to drive the development of data pipelines and build data views to simplify the creation of detailed reports about our features.
You will contribute to innovation by supporting the prototyping of data-focused products, working with the UX team and PM team to refine the product vision, and assisting in the creation of pilots to share with customers. You will also help design the service data model, ensuring it aligns with business needs and analytical goals. Your understanding of the intersection between data and business will be valuable in helping to establish frameworks for meaningful data analysis.
Here is a glimpse at your responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements for comprehensive analysis of user interactions within applications.
- Design requirements for data models that standardize and normalize event data into a Service Data Model, enabling easy analysis and reporting.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and key insights, helping business stakeholders understand user behavior and application performance.
- Work with a Product Manager to define the data requirements for a new feature or product.
- Optimize data processing by testing pre-calculations in data storage solutions prior to the creation of reporting dashboards.
- Provide support to team members by assisting with data extraction and analysis queries, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Coordinate with teams responsible for product integration to ensure adherence to data standards and protocols across applications.
Here is what will qualify you for the role:
- A minimum of 5 years experience as a Data Analyst and a good understanding of Cloud Technologies.
- Solid experience in SQL, ETL, Data Warehousing and Data Lake Architecture.
- The ability to become a reference for our team based on your solid knowledge in building data models and analytics for large distributed systems.
- The ability to analyze large datasets, draw insights, and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A natural curiosity and a passion for transforming data into valuable business insights.
What would make you stand out:
- Proficient in using DBT for data transformation to enhance data quality and streamline analytics processes.
- Experienced with Prefect for orchestrating complex data workflows and ensuring reliable data pipelines.
- Experience with programming languages like Python to automate processes or build custom analytical tools.
