An integral role driving our team’s operational excellence 

As Coveo’s Marketing Team keeps specializing, the need to stay connected, coordinated and aligned grows constantly. Working closely with the head of Marketing Operations and the Marketing Leadership team, the Marketing Operation Specialist helps Coveo’s global team of over 40 marketing professionals achieve effectiveness at scale.  

From owning the budget processes and project management, marketing data governance, and other team-wide projects, your role will be to help the team scale and be more effective. You’ll have exposure to the entire marketing team plus people from across the organization - most notably finance, sales, commercial operations and Information Systems.  This role will be an excellent opportunity to learn the business and gain experience in a role driving operational excellence.  

Your primary responsibilities will include: 

  • Budget planning and accounting reconciliation : own the marketing budget and coordinate closely with marketing leaders and our finance team to maintain a strong reconciliation of our plans vs. actual expenses. Maintain a budget forecast. 
  • Data governance in our CRM, including daily reviews and updates plus data engineering work, including bulk data audits, retroactive cleanups, etc.
  • Marketing ROI analysis process and reporting : lead the effort to track marketing investments in our CRM (and other tools) so we can effectively report on ROI.  
  • Team coordination & internal comms : running our team wide recognition program, centralizing internal communications, and more.  
  • Support the team with ad hoc reporting requests. 
  • Plus, you will look after team processes which are more effectively managed centrally, such as our corporate gifting program, and best practices for our project management system Asana, and keeping our process documentation up to date in Confluence. 

Clear & effective coordination to support our rapid success

Our ideal candidate will have: 

  • 2+ years of work experience, ideally with a high-growth B2B company or in an accounting or finance role 
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience working with budgets, strong understanding of bookkeeping, accounting and budget management (understanding of concepts including prepaid, accruals, etc).  Experience with ROI analysis is a plus.  
  • Experience and familiarity with Marketing Automation Platforms (i.e. Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, HubSpot, etc).
  • Has previously worked and/or had projects working with a CRM.
  • Has basic knowledge of database management.
  • Must be comfortable with cross-platform project management at times in both Asana and JIRA.
  • Comfortable working in a virtual team environment.
  • Results-oriented, with a strong ability to execute.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity.
  • Strong proficiency in English, with great writing skills.  Bonus if bilingual French and English.
