A digital advertising ninja; crafting and implementing our paid digital strategy to accelerate growth


Coveo is looking for an experienced digital advertising expert to join our marketing team and serve as our digital growth team lead.

You are a digital advertising geek who cares about using modern tools to understand audiences, continuously improving ad creative, optimize landing pages, and maintain efficient channel performance quarterly.  

And, you’re excited to lead and coach a small team and manage agency partners.  


In more details, here’s what a day-to-day in the role looks like:

Reporting to the SVP of Marketing, and working closely with our GMs and marketing leaders, you will: 

  • Set the paid search strategy and build plans for our 3 key business lines at scale in North America and Europe. 
  • Oversee the design, creation, execution, and optimization of Google ads, YouTube ads and other paid search campaigns focused on acquiring new enterprise customers.
  • Collaborate with other marketing teams to understand our campaign plans and to execute our paid search plans. 
  • Analyze performance of our paid advertising investments portfolio by using data, and lead optimization to increase conversions, achieve pipeline goals and KPIs every quarter (test: messaging updates, keyword strategy, ad creative, etc to achieve pipeline and ROAS targets).
  • Develop an A/B testing strategy and build processes to quickly and efficiently implement winning results. Document what we learn and share across the team.  
  • Own budget, KPIs and forecast across all paid channels relating to lead and pipeline generation.  Set-up reporting that communicates performance, yield and forecast to marketing teammates and execs on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.  
  • Serve as team lead and coach to our 2 digital specialists -- responsible for landing pages and paid social campaigns -- and guide our agency partners.

What we need from you:

  • 8+ years experience managing paid advertising campaigns, ideally for B2B companies 
  • Strong expertise using Google Ads, Linkedin, Facebook and Instagram advertising.  Google certification is a plus.  
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, digital marketing, advertising, web development, or a related field.
  • Expertise managing a large account at scale, setting up experiments, A/B tests and ultimately to pipeline.  
  • Strong knowledge of landing page best practices, and hands-on experience building pages.  Knowledge of Sitecore CMS or Unbounce a plus. 
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce, Marketo, and other CRM/email tools
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations based on the data. 
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills. Ability to lead fellow growth marketers in a fast-paced environment, with a positive attitude..  
  • Comfortable in creative environments, making recommendations, pushing the status-quo, prioritizing testing, and researching/driving new opportunities.
  • The ability to adapt to rapid changes is a must.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Superior knowledge of B2B digital marketing practices, particularly experience marketing to specialized verticals and enterprise buying teams.
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of SEO/website management tools, and SQL.
  • Proficient in summarizing sophisticated ideas and performance reports into recommendations for senior executives.
  • Creativity: you love working with a team and creatively solving difficult problems.
