An essential role in powerful performance marketing 

The Advertising project manager will play an essential role in managing individuals and teams to develop, create, and deliver paid advertising campaigns. In collaboration with the Paid Advertising Manager, you will balance day-to-day project oversight with communications between creative, web, and programs teams to ensure that ad campaigns are completed on time and within budget.

With a focus on Performance Marketing, you will help Coveo’s marketing acquisition team to grow and drive revenue at the heart of Coveo’s growth. You will also consult with the Head of Campaigns and the Paid Advertising Manager to determine which media outlets and strategies will provide an ideal balance of reach and cost for each of our solutions.

In this role you will focus on three main responsibilities:

Project planning and coordination: The advertising project manager is all about team coordination, specifically, between creative, web and programs. 

  • You need to project plan, define timelines, and effectively communicate with these teams to set priorities; 
  • You ensure that project milestones and budget expectations are met, and determine team member expectations across departments; 
  • As an advertising project manager, you also communicate with Marketing Performance Leadership to provide progress updates and reporting.

Communications with campaign management: The advertising project manager is also tasked with collaborating with the head of campaigns to help determine the scope of projects. This may involve developing and presenting ad strategy and creative, receiving feedback throughout the project, and providing updates.

Ad budget management: In collaboration with the Paid Advertising Manager, this role manages, updates and optimizes the ad budget. You will work closely with third party vendors on ad placement, budgeting and contract management. The advertising project manager also seeks ways to increase return on ad spend through more cost effective placement strategies.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience of project management in a digital advertising agency
  • Strong budgeting and forecasting skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to facilitate work across teams 
  • PMP certification, a plus
  • Bilingual, a plus
