Our User Experience Research team is looking for an intern! The team mission is to deliver relevant, easy-to-use and engaging experiences. We are looking for someone who will develop and execute research initiatives to design the future of intelligence experiences and also learn about User Experience Research as a practice alongside your mentor. 

You will work in a team of experienced product designers and art directors in a ‘’design ops’’ framework. You absolutely love research, insights and are a highly curious individual ? Continue reading - we might just have the perfect opportunity for you !

More specifically, your mission will include; 

  • Working in a design collaborative environment, not a design bubble
  • Mapping user experiences and ecosystems to identify  pain points and friction
  • Exploring, learning and applying different frameworks from various disciplines - Design Thinking, Service Design, Behavioral economics science, sociology, etc. 
  • Building and Executing research initiatives - Shadowing / User tests / Interviews / Focus Groups / Surveys / Support tickets analysis / Call Analysis / etc. 
  • Analyzing and synthesizing your learnings into insights and actionable recommendations
  • Communicating to different stakeholders

So what’s a typical day like ?  

  • You start the day with a virtual team meeting called Coffee UX.  You have the opportunity to chat about the latest podcasts and articles on design thinking, user interface design and user testing
  • After, you jump back into your work, you want to adjust the discussion guide, to get ready for the first usability testing session
  • It’s already  lunchtime ! You are invited to a Lunch and learn. The menu serves a video and a discussion about “Confirmation biases”
  • In the afternoon, you are facilitating a work session with the Professional Services team and the Customer Success team to better understand the Client’s Implementation journey. 
  •  A colleague is pinging you for some feedback, on a workshop choreography of a co-design session, and you happily jump on a ZOOM meeting to help. 
  • To finish the day, your internship coach sets aside some time for you this afternoon to make sure everything runs smoothly when you start out. You discuss the team dynamics, the technical challenges that await you and the initiatives you could take to find the solution to your current challenges.

  • You are currently studying either design, UX, Service Design, behavioral science, sociology, anthropology, or social psychology
  • You have a strong attention to detail ; you are known for your sharp eyes 
  • You are someone who shines through organization,prioritization and methodology
  • You are a highly creative person ; we are looking for innovation, great ideas and intelligent reasoning to improve our processes!
  • You’re willing to take the initiative and work autonomously - grab the freedom you’re offered and run with it!
  • You are thriving when things are moving fast and in many directions. You’re going to work on multiple projects at the same time !
  • You’re a great team player. Alone we can do so little; together we can achieve so much!
  • You excel at communicating in English. You can also write and speak French ? That’s even better !
