A cornerstone of the Coveo Experience

In this brand-new role, you will have an opportunity to be the first at Coveo to manage global licenses. This includes developing and implementing license management processes, monitoring and tracking existing licenses, managing the growth of licenses and consumption, as well as optimizing license costs. ​You will be working in alignment with various teams such as Access Management, System Administration and Procurement. 

Let’s start with your to-do list. In this role, you will be responsible to:

  • Collaborate with the Procurement and Finance team on the purchasing process of new tools and systems to integrate into new license management processes.
  • Collaborate with your teammates in the IS departments , especially Information Systems Business Partners, who are the best spokespeople for their departments at Coveo like Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Administration.
  • Prioritize and manage a variety of requests coming from internal teams.
  • Manage each life cycle: Analyze licence usage and implement license usage policies 
  • Setup new solutions according to the internal security and management policies
  • Create and maintain regular reports for license monitoring and optimization using the reporting tool of your choice
  • Manage the generation of software license keys for various orders as they come and the tracking of license key expiry
  • Ensure data in business systems and tools related to licensing and delivery is maintained

  • 1-3 years of enterprise with license management in a fast-growing organization 
  • Education in Management of Information Systems / Business Technology Management (BTM) or similar is a plus
  • Strong communication skills for both business and technical audiences
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to create clean documentation for your coworkers to use!
  • Effectively measure adoption of licensed software to implement real-time changes and optimize the costs.
  • Strong ability to roll up sleeves to get things done. We live by the motto of extreme ownership! You are self- driven and motivated individual 
  • Understanding of software implementation and licensing

These will raise our eyebrows, and we consider it an asset:

  • Strong understanding of software technology, licensing, compliance, and controls with ability to understand and interpret nuances of software license agreements and contracts.
  • Must be comfortable working across all business functions at every level from individual contributor to C-Level executives, and possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and to lead, influence, and team-up  with others.
