As our team of tech superheroes, the IT helpdesk is responsible for providing impeccable service to employees when they encounter an issue with their computer, equipment or software. This is a team of tech nerds who provide proactive and efficient support.
As an intern in our helpdesk team, you will become well-versed in a wide range of computer software and hardware. We like to offer novelty and diversity, so this is the perfect position to work with cutting-edge tools, test them and suggest new ones. The door is also always open for improving our technological landscape.

What would your typical day look like?
- You start your day by participating in your weekly team meeting. You receive full visibility on who’s working on which project and you’ll have the opportunity to quickly identify your tasks of the week. You are always seen as part of the team even if you are an intern!
- You then go through your emails and start by tackling the tickets that have been assigned to you in ServiceNow; you plan your schedule for the day and your priorities to be most efficient.
- You take advantage of your state-of-the-art computer to help you find a solution to your highest priority ticket. In order to help your team for the future, you document the problem and the solution
- It's lunch time already! You take a well-deserved rest and why not, attend one of the lunch and learn specially designed for trainees. It’s the perfect opportunity to learn while networking with your peers
- After lunch, your assistance is required to help set up our training room for a large event. The team can always count on you for exceptional service.
- Later that afternoon, you contact your next client in Colorado to help them with their problem via go to assist.
- Then your internship coach sets aside some time for you this afternoon to make sure everything runs smoothly when you start out. You discuss the team dynamics, the challenges that await you and the initiatives you could take to find the solution to your current challenges. You express you are interested in honing a certain trait or skill - be ready to jump on some new projects your coach will assign to you that will help you to do exactly that!

Requirements:
- You are currently studying Network administration and support or any related field
- You’re willing to take the initiative and work autonomously - grab the freedom you’re offered and run with it!
- You are a self declared tech nerd.
- You have one or multiple experiences in a client facing role
- You are passionate about people and systems but also about empowering and supporting them.
- You excel at speaking and writing in both English and French. Et oui ! Notre stagiaire devra être bilingue
Do you also possess the following skills? That’s Great:
- You have prior experience with ServiceNow or a similar ticketing system.
- You are detailed oriented. We are seeking innovations, great ideas and smart reasoning to help us improve our process !
- You are outgoing and love to speak with people ; you will be in contact with multiple users after all !
- You see mistakes and constructive feedback as growth opportunities, not as personal blame.
