The Trusted Advisor that Helps Transform Businesses

The mission of our Professional Services team is to integrate Coveo’s relevance technology into our customers’ digital experiences. As a Solutions Architect, you’ll be the trusted advisor our customers need to fully understand their pain points and translate the business needs into technical requirements. You thrive at seeing the full potential of Coveo’s technology and the impact of delivering breakthrough digital experiences.

Every customer has its own challenges, but with you on their side, they’ll have access to the best practices, and trust that their requirements will be enhanced, all while being guided in the design, planning and governance of the project.

There won’t be two days alike in this role, but one might look like:

  • Always start with a cup of coffee. Then, hop on an intro call with a couple of business stakeholders on a new project. You enquire about their business operating model and executive priorities and already show flashes of greatness to them with your clever observations
  • Then, a robust conversation with the customer’s support delivery team. As one of the most important bridges between customers and the company, you help them align their business goals and technology architecture standards
  • After lunch, you have a meeting with a business analyst at another account to proactively discuss and identify opportunities for improvement and best practices in terms of people, process, and technology. You get to shed some light on specific issues that are in the way. The project delivery team will thank you for this
  • You spent the last few weeks working on business goals that are in line with business context and priorities for this new client. You finalized the major milestones and the plan on tracking, monitoring, and achieving the goals with a solution architect yesterday. You’re the presenter today and your prep is killing it
  • Collaborate with Coveo product management on new features, release schedules, and provide customer feedback to influence the product roadmap
  • Manage the Kanban boards and ensure requirements are clear and properly broken down into actionable items for technical resources
  • End your day working with the Coveo customer success team ensuring that past implementations went well and derive best practices for future implementations

Natural Born Problem Solver...

The right candidate will enjoy the intellectual challenge that every customer brings and deeply cares about helping them reach their business goals, by ensuring the right technical solution has been implemented. They will have spent the last few years in a client-facing role within a technical environment, having developed an ease at understanding and communicating the clients’ needs.

Here’s how to impress us:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field with at least 8 years in business and technical analysis/architecture roles
  • Experience in SaaS implementation projects from a Professional Services / Consulting standpoint
  • Possess strong organizational skills with experience working with Agile methodologies
  • Advisor mentality and willingness to participate in the full project life cycle: Requirements Gathering, Analysis, Design, Configuration, Testing and Go-Live
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills from technical to C-suite customers
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: you feel you achieve so much more by working along with a customer or partner than alone between four walls.
  • Consulting and/or client facing experience, understand the importance of timely communications and see value in collaborating with colleagues to find the best possible solution
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and ownership qualities during a project. You have the ability to prioritize and work under pressure in a structured, resourceful and thorough manner
  • Experience implementing, integrating, and working with hosted and cloud solutions including Salesforce, Jive, Confluence, Jira, SharePoint, and MS Dynamics
  • Experience with Salesforce and/or ServiceNow a big plus….Certification is ideal.
