Coveo is disrupting the digital space by democratizing A.I powered search for Leaders across different industries. Our Research & Development (R&D) team is our biggest department and is always ahead of the competition in terms of innovation, vision, and delivery. 

Your role? Lead the Technical Talent Acquisition team and be the main stakeholder that our different  R&D Vice Presidents rely on to grow their department. To reach our ambitious goals, you will lead and scale your own team of Technical Talent Acquisition Partners. In today’s competitive talent market, you’ll need to be creative, driven and a domain expert to help identify, attract and acquire the best technical talent.

Strategizing & Partnership

  • Develop a strong relationship with the R&D management team. Advise, challenge and coach the leadership on the best ways to generate awareness and attract new talent
  • Clarify & communicate the current hiring priorities with the R&D management team 
  • Work closely with R&D HR Business Partners and Employer Brand to come up with a unified employee experience flow and adapt global strategy when hiring for new talent
  • Actively contribute to the implementation of new recruiting strategies with your fellow team lead and manager

Team Leadership

  • Manage, coach, develop and scale your team of Technical Talent Partners. Inspire them to get out of their comfort zone, drive innovation and become thought leaders
  • Creatively find new ways to develop your team’s hard and soft skills, their selling ability and also their technological & business acumen

Recruitment

  • Occasionally help your team with some recruitment activities, especially with senior leadership R&D roles

Data Insights

  • Ensure to deliver meaningful data insights (coming from our PeopleOps team) to have strategic discussions with the R&D leadership and develop tactical call to action with your team, to support our overall strategic vision
  • Stay on top of hiring activities with data

In this market, we are far from your basic, traditional recruiting activities. Competition for top talent is real and aggressive, and employees are the most important resource for tech companies like us. This means you’ll need to have strategic vision as well as a strong understanding of the tech talent market to lead your team towards success.

Here is what we will look at in your profile:

  • You have +/- 5 years of previous inhouse Talent Acquisition experience within fast paced, tech-focused companies
  • 2 years of experience with managing, coaching and leading a high performing team
  • Successful track record of filling both high volume and\or specialized engineering, product and analytics roles
  • A business mindset and an understanding of how strategic talent acquisition impacts the success of the organization for the best and for the worse. You know what we mean by Coveo being a SaaS Unicorn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to collaborate and influence at all levels of the organisation including the Leadership team
  • Strong organizational and project management skills including the ability to establish milestones, identify dependencies, and drive results all while respecting the timeframe
  • You have a data driven perspective as well as a good emotional intelligence to understand the audience and collaborate with your main stakeholders
  • You are curious and enjoy discussing technical topics and staying up to date with the technical market. Maybe you even learned to code in the past?
  • You are bilingual in French and English
