A Human Resources Business Partner for Global Services

In this role, you will 

  • Coach and support your leaders on the full spectrum of HR services, based on their needs.
  • Partner with the recruitment team to provide insight on current and upcoming needs. Work with the Talent Acquisition Lead and the Global Services leadership to identify recruiting priorities. 
  • Provide support in developing hiring plans throughout the strategic headcount planning process
  • Guide leaders through change. Foster alignment, provide guidance and assistance to assure motivation and mobilization of the employees. 
  • Review and analyze key HR metrics (relationship with peers, satisfaction, happiness and more) as measured through regular employee surveys. Make recommendations to address meaningful fluctuations and execute on your plan.  
  • Inform leaders and employees about ongoing HR initiatives throughout the organization on a consistent basis;
  • Collaborate with Compensation expertise in Shared Services. Provide compensation recommendations for employment offers to candidates, internal promotions, and recognition bonuses. Act as the gatekeeper of internal equity
  • Identify training and development needs with managers and partners with Learning & Development expertise in Shared Services to develop this educational material, and to facilitate training sessions. Build programs and identify resources to support employee development.
  • Assist and provide guidance in partnership with leaders for the Career development program of Global Services. Partner with leaders in organizational design and development as needed;
  • Advise leaders on talent development, promotions and employee growth. Build development plans and retention strategies for high performers. Manage poor performance and advise leaders on appropriate steps to follow.

As the HR Business Partner for Global Services, you’ll work closely with the leaders to identify the HR priorities and develop HR programs and services that support Global Services business objectives. 

You’ll also develop a deep understanding for the Global Services culture, which will allow you to advocate for your division’s objectives and realities in the design of corporate HR programs, and to provide relevant context to your peers in the identification of company-wide HR priorities.

  • Excellent bilingual (English & French) communication skills, verbal and written
  • 3-5 years of related experience in Human Resources
  • Knowledge of employment law in Canada is a plus 
  • Problem solving mentality and strategic mindset
