Tia White was appointed, Technical Advisor to Peter DeSantis, SVP AWS Utility Computing in August 2024. Prior to this role, she was General Manager, Personalization and Privacy Enhancing AI where she grew and launched new AI managed services her first 2.5 years at AWS. Prior to joining AWS, she was an executive in Engineering and Applied AI at Capital One, JP Morgan and Wells Fargo. Tia has an extensive background in technology transformations and launching highly innovate AI products. She has led massive global engineering, science and product teams exceeding operating budgets of $500M annually. She has also launched and scaled AI products in risk, finance, audit, and consumer products. Tia balances the perfect blend of technical and business depth. Tia understands the power of education. To that end, she holds degrees and certificates from the University North Carolina at Greensboro, Georgia Southern University, University of Virginia, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In Tia’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She is a single mom to two wonderful little human beings, Dylan (7) and Ali II (6).

Joyce Leung is the Vice President of Services Operations at Illumio, where she leads the company’s 24/7 global operations across technical support, professional services, and technical training. With nearly 11 years at Illumio, Joyce has been central to building scalable processes and technologies that drive customer success and empower employee productivity.

Since stepping into the VP role in 2022, Joyce has overseen the transformation of Illumio’s services organization into a truly customer-centric engine, ensuring clients receive world-class support and seamless engagement. Her leadership reflects a deep commitment to operational excellence, continuous improvement, and enabling teams with the tools and systems to deliver exceptional service experiences.

Laurent Simoneau is Chief Executive Officer of Coveo. Mr. Simoneau was previously President and Chief Technology Officer of Coveo from 2011 to 2025, and had also served as Chief Executive Officer from 2004 to 2011.

Prior to Coveo, Mr. Simoneau was Chief Technology Officer of Copernic, an early leader in desktop search, where he oversaw Copernic’s product strategy and directed the research and development of core technologies. Mr. Simoneau also served as Chief Operating Officer at Copernic during which he successfully orchestrated the spin-off of Copernic’s enterprise search software division in 2005 into what is now Coveo.

Mr. Simoneau holds a Master of Business Administration from the Université du Québec. Mr. Simoneau served on the board of directors of Qohash Inc., a data security software development company, until May 2023.

Sébastien Paquet obtained his Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence at Laval University in 2006. Subsequently, he worked as a computer consultant for 8 years, mainly on research and development projects in the field of military intelligence. He worked on several types of technologies related to knowledge management and decision making: natural language processing, machine learning, operations research, and automated reasoning. Since 2014, Mr. Paquet is leading the machine learning team at Coveo developing algorithms to improve information retrieval, recommendations, and personalization. His recent interests and work are in the areas of machine learning, large-scale usage data analysis, and natural language processing.
