In support of our continued growth, we are looking for a Sales Engineer to join our Global Sales team.  Based out of your home office , you will help potential customers understand, compare, and contrast Coveo platform and solutions ensuring that our solutions work successfully during evaluation leading to a positive buying decision. You will spend around 15% of your time traveling, and may work a flexible schedule due to the needs of the sales organization you support.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Support Sales team in their sales campaigns and help identifying and quantifying Coveo’s value proposition and best solution for their needs
  • Scope and evaluate the opportunity to decide whether or not it is worth pursuing
  • Configure and deliver demos to demonstrate Coveo’s functionalities and capabilities are the most relevant to the prospect’s needs. Support potential customers in their evaluation of Coveo and answer their most technical questions
  • Respond to InfoSec requirements and questions from our prospects
  • Be a technical lead in RFI and RFP proposals
  • Be a Coveo expert and evangelist that participate in conferences and other events (as speaker or booth presence)

More about the profile we are looking for

This role requires a great balance of technical and business skills.

The ideal candidate would be:

  • An expert in technical and business requirements discovery
  • Great at scoping a project and determining key drivers to win a deal
  • An articulate individual that can translate a highly technical solution in simple business terms
  • A social profile that can develop relationships with decision makers
  • Able to find his way through medium to large organizations structure (roles and responsibilities, departments, etc)
  • Solid programming skills (React, JavaScript, Python, HTML) are a must while experience with SAP Hybris would be a big plus
  • Experience with Commerce is preferred
  • Passionate about technology that keeps his skills up to date on all kinds of projects
