Be a key player in our sales and customer growth strategy for 2022 and beyond! 

Coveo’s Business Strategy & Value Advisory (SVA) Team is looking for a Strategy  Advisor to  be a key player in our sales and customer growth strategy for 2022 and beyond. You will drive SVA customer engagements with our install base and prospects to support the Coveo Customer Success and Sales teams while leading SVA improvement initiatives to embed strategy and value thinking/capabilities across the organization and help us scale on our high-powered growth trajectory. 

We are looking for a strategic advisor with eCommerce and/or Customer Service & Support knowledge/interest who thrives on analyzing customers’ business performance and crafting strategic and tactical solutions in line with our customers’ digital business objectives. An analytical problem-solver and lifelong learner, you are intellectually curious and love bringing structure to ambiguous and strategic business problems. You are just as comfortable leading executive conversations, crafting executive narratives and strategic roadmaps as you are analyzing data, modeling business cases and developing tactical roadmaps.

As a self-starter, you enjoy working autonomously in a fast-paced and innovative environment while collaborating in a team setting and acting as a steward for our AI-driven mission. You possess an abundance of energy, and people know you as a high-achiever that loves running initiatives and programs independently within a “start-up paced” technology company!

Design strategic roadmaps and lead business value assessments for companies that are investing in eCommerce and overall Customer Experience!

At an exciting time in the expansion of Coveo’s strategy, the successful candidate will be responsible for a wide variety of responsibilities. 

Here is a glimpse of what you’ll be doing: 

Be a strategic advisor by crafting a Coveo-driven strategic roadmap that solves our prospect’s / customer’s most pressing business priorities.

  • Establish a strategic, business-performance enhancing path to utilizing Coveo’s services based on a customer or prospect’s strategic priorities and challenges, technical architecture, product catalog, etc.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for our core industry verticals and have the responsibility of delivering best practice strategic services for Coveo’s top tier prospects and clients and advise on best use cases to achieve their intended goals.
  • Facilitate discovery sessions to map out customers' "as is" and "to be" business strategy, value chain, business model, digital customer journey, and/or processes with the goal of identifying and prioritizing key strategic initiatives that Coveo can contribute to.

Act as a Business Value advisor

  • Work closely with prospective and existing customers, alongside sales, customer success and product leadership, to identify, prioritize and quantify key business drivers and metrics, and help customers understand how our solutions will help them achieve their strategic and financial goals.
  • Develop and deliver compelling business case presentations and financial models aimed at identifying, accelerating, justifying, and/or expanding sales opportunities.
  • Demonstrate value delivered to the installed base and collaborate with customers and internal teams to continuously align business cases with value delivered. 
  • Develop business value thought leadership (articles, webinars, studies, etc.) and provide and provide training with sales, customer success and other teams throughout and beyond the sales cycle to embed the value lens throughout the organization.
  • Develop tools and documentation to simplify and facilitate business case development process.

What we're looking for:

  • BA/BSc or higher with professional experience ideally in a Management Consulting or other consultative, strategic and analytical customer-facing roles, SAAS, digital agency, retail ecommerce, market research, or other relevant area.
  • Strong business acumen, digital/strategic business advisory, modelling, executive communication, analytical, customer workshop facilitation and business process mapping skills.
  • Cross-industry experience in digital strategy and transformation (i.e. digital marketing, ecommerce, operations, collaboration, customer experience and/or innovation).
  • Proven success working within cross-functional teams; both technical and business staff, and senior level client stakeholders; ability to develop relationships and influence the thinking of senior stakeholders at the executive level.
  • Track record of delivering and leading multiple customer-facing projects, presentations and assessments with varying degrees of scale and complexity and business priority.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation and communication skills, a strong executive presence and are comfortable collaborating with and presenting to executives, including handling objections confidently and gracefully. 
  • Proven success working within cross-functional teams; both technical and business staff.
  • Knowledge of SaaS, eCommerce business models, Customer Service and Support, online marketing, CRM, web analytics, common ecommerce technical architecture and platforms, etc
