Coach and Guide the Team at the Forefront of Sales Growth
Coveo is seeking a proactive and strategic Manager to lead our Business Development team. In this role, you will mentor, coach, and develop the SDR team to achieve sales targets while fostering strong communication and collaboration. You will be responsible for building and managing the team to effectively qualify Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) within their assigned line of business, ultimately driving successful meetings with potential clients and making a meaningful impact on our business.
As our Manager of Business Development, you will:
- Plan for hiring and onboarding new Sales Development Representatives to ensure efficient ramp up time.
- Train Sales Development Representatives to efficiently handle inbound Marketing Qualified Leads.
- Ensure Business Development Representatives improve performance and abilities over time by providing coaching and feedback in recurring weekly 1:1s.
- Work closely with Business Development Management, Sales, and Marketing to identify areas of improvement for their team
- Accurately forecast weekly, monthly, and quarterly attainment of targets.
- Report on team and individual results.
- Stay up to date on trends in the industry and marketing developments in the industry
Here is what will qualify you for the role:
- Proven success in leading SDR/BDR teams, ideally in a B2B SaaS or technology-driven environment, with a deep understanding of lead generation and the sales funnel process.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and drive a team toward ambitious targets.
- Analytical mindset, capable of interpreting data and making informed, data-driven decisions to optimize performance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
What would make you stand out:
- Hands-on experience with CRM systems and sales tools, particularly Salesforce.
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
