Building the SAP Channel for Coveo

ISV Partners and Global System Integrators (GSI) play a crucial role in Coveo’s growth plans. As part of our rapid expansion, Coveo is seeking a high performing, sales focused Strategic Alliances Manager.

Reporting to the SVP of Global Alliances and Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing and managing the relationship with SAP including interacting with and increasing awareness with SAP alliances, sales, product and marketing teams.  Our Strategic Alliances Manager will work closely with SAP throughout their early stage sales cycles and across their sales organizations to evangelize AI-powered-search solutions and opportunities.

It is a fast paced, highly visible, and key role in driving the future success of the Coveo Alliances team within SAP.  

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Develop relationships and increase awareness about Coveo solutions with key stakeholders from SAP including alliances, sales, product, and marketing teams across North America.
  • Coordinating efforts with Coveo’s international alliances team to extend reach within SAP and develop best practices for alliance engagement.
  • Help coordinate and deliver sales, functional  and technical enablement with SAP alliances, sales, product and marketing teams on a consistent basis.
  • Nurture partner pipeline in conjunction with inside sales and Coveo AEs  so it becomes properly qualified and sales ready.
  • Work with marketing and sales to develop and execute a strategic partnership pipeline of on-going events and activities.
  • Drive partners/prospects to meet Coveo at events (i.e.virtual webinars, conferences, shows). 
  • Create robust follow-up campaigns in conjunction with marketing around any events, webinars hosted. Engage with marketing to build programs designed to produce a steady sales pipeline over time.
  • Regularly attend and present to various user groups within the partner ecosystems. 
  • Travel 20-30% of the time

  • Minimum 8+ years experience in a similar Alliances role in SaaS. You have been directly working within an ISV ecosystem (SAP experience is a plus).
  • Exposure to our market and use cases for Commerce and Knowledge (Service, Websites and Workplace).
  • A track record of creating and executing successful channel/alliance strategies. Winning support from senior management and increasing vendor’s awareness and mindshare within an ecosystem.
  • Self-starter with a strong independent, entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Strong business acumen that allows for seamless navigation through a variety of complex organizations, their structures and politics.
  • A collaborative team spirit, you’re willing to help the greater team and be part of the wins!
  • Strong determination and perseverance - things don't always work out - what’s your Plan B?
  • Strong presenter who can tailor positioning for a particular audience.
  • Outgoing, sociable and comfortable engaging with new people at a variety of events.
