UX Product Designer

As a User Experience Product Designer, your craft human-centered experiences, simplify complex concepts and empower the user for self-serving on a buffet of AI functionalities. Alongside the Product Manager and Technical Lead, you are in charge of the product life-cycle and bring to the table the user voice, insights and design solutions. You are part of a large design team and work with other designers, art directors and researchers to create the next generation of AI-powered search experiences.

Coveo is a Canadian start-up with a highly ambitious team, a thriving tech and design community located in the heart of Quebec and Montreal.

A typical Thursday:

  • Start your day by hanging out at the UX Coffee, on Zoom, with your design team. What's new, what's old, what’s the new Miro feature?
  • You, and your intern, continue mapping the future user journey for a new feature.
  • Before lunch, you have a call with Alex, product manager, and Germain, Tech lead to sync on the feasibility of the feature and the next steps
  • There is a Lunch & learn today about Design Analytics. Yum!
  • With a fresh coffee, you sit down and continue working on the Figma prototype, preparing it for the next User testing round. You collaborate with Juliana, the Design Researcher on this project and Catherine, the Content Designer.
  • It's already 4 pm, and there is a design review today. Lorraine is looking for feedback on the new Data Dashboards, and Gustavo on the new animations. #nomo (Not missing out)
  • Once the meeting is done, people stay a while, some open a beer. It’s Thursday after all.

  • A cohesive portfolio, with several examples of product work
  • Minimum 3-4 years of solving product problems, preferably software or SaaS domain, from information architecture and interaction design to user research and strategy.
  • Mastery of design tools (Axure, Figma or similar)
  • Experience with qualitative user research: user testing, user interview, concept validation, card sorting and so on
  • A plus experience with design thinking, design sprint or similar collaborative design methods
  • You are proactive, organized and independent; on a constant quest to improve and evolve the product.
  • You love working in a collaborative space focused on teamwork, innovation and feedback.
  • You love designing interaction, not static screens and have a distaste for lorem ipsum
  • A good sense of humor is crucial to enjoying working with this team!
