Interested in making a meaningful impact on the development of a groundbreaking feature?
We’re looking for people energized by backend development to contribute to one of the following three teams:
- The Data Platform Foundation team builds the main event streaming pipeline and reporting services that captures usage information which allows monitoring and reporting to provide meaningful insights.
- The ML Platform Serving team enables customers to harness the full potential of Coveo AI models. They support ML scientists by striving to enhance their quality of life throughout the building lifecycle.
- The Platform Engineering - CI/CD team develops deployment tools to improve day-to-day efficiency of other development teams. They facilitate development in a DevOps mindset.
What your typical day would look like:
- You start your day off with a team meeting (scrum) to track the progress on the team’s different projects and elevate each other by sharing innovative ideas.
- Take ownership of your current projects, start your day with some coding!
- You then jump on a Zoom call to shadow the work your coach is doing, asking questions and learning from their approach.
- As you’re eager to be given more responsibilities, you make sure to test your code like a pro for it to deliver tangible value. Get ready to cross collaborate between different teams internally, this role will have you working with multiple developers.
- After lunch your priorities shift, and along with your coach you begin on a project to contribute to improving our monitoring, security and infrastructure!
- The day is coming to an end! You take some time to review the feedback you received from your latest code review and understand how you can improve for next time.
Here's what will qualify you for the role:
- You are currently enrolled in a Software Engineering or Computer Science program.
- You have completed an internship in a similar role.
- You have experience in:
- To join our Data Platform Foundation team: Java, SQL, with an interest in data.
- To join our ML Platform Serving team: Java, AWS, DevOps, with an interest in developing tools and building infrastructure.
- To join our Platform Engineering - CI/CD team: Python, Github, AWS, with an interest in tool deployment.
- You have a strong sense of ownership and are proud of what you create.
- You strive to grow, you aren’t afraid to ask questions to strengthen your understanding.
And the cherry on top that will make you stand out:
- Always looking for new challenges; you often participate in hackathons!
- You have great organizational and time management skills.

This role requires you to be in the office full-time, whether it be at our Quebec, Montreal, Weert, or London locations. Our modern infrastructures are designed to enhance cross-team collaboration and promote overall well-being.

Our offices in Quebec City, Montreal, London and Weert are designed to foster collaboration and your well-being. We gather there on our pillar days two times a week to strengthen in-person interactions and encourage creativity, all while providing you with the flexibility of a hybrid environment.
