As Director of Data Platform, you will play a key leadership role in defining and executing the technology vision for Coveo’s Data Platform. Our AI-powered solutions rely on a cutting-edge data acquisition, processing, and storage infrastructure to deliver intelligent, real-time experiences.

As a director for this unit, you will shape and execute the strategy to keep our Data Platform cutting-edge while building an environment that fosters professional growth and high performance. Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading and growing multiple teams within the Data Platform unit, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance work environment.
  • Defining and overseeing the technical vision and roadmap for the Data Platform in collaboration with technical leaders and product managers.
  • Partnering with other directors, teams, and executive leadership to ensure alignment between people, processes, and technology.
  • Driving operational excellence by optimizing the data stack for cost-efficiency, reliability, governance, and scalability.
  • Overseeing the full development lifecycle of new capabilities, from planning to production, ensuring strategic alignment with Coveo’s vision.
  • Managing the data needs for both Coveo’s products and internal operations, ensuring seamless data integration across the organization.

Here’s what will qualify you for the role:

  • A minimum 10 years of software development experience, including leadership of high-performing teams in a SaaS environment.
  • Deep expertise in data ingestion, transformation, and infrastructure, with a strong understanding of the specific data needs of ML teams.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders, coupled with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset and a passion for identifying opportunities and bringing them to life.

This role requires you to be in the office full-time, whether it be at our Quebec, Montreal, Weert, or London locations. Our modern infrastructures are designed to enhance cross-team collaboration and promote overall well-being.

Hybrid
Our offices in Quebec City, Montreal, London and Weert are designed to foster collaboration and your well-being. We gather there on our pillar days two times a week to strengthen in-person interactions and encourage creativity, all while providing you with the flexibility of a hybrid environment.

Remote
We hire from all over the world because the diversity of backgrounds fuels our continuous innovation. Our benefits will enable you to work comfortably from home, but you may be required to travel to attend our in-person team-building events.
