We appreciate your interest in Coveo. We will be in touch with you shortly.
The orchestrator of our security policies:
We are looking for a talented and experienced Security Advisor to join our team. You will play a critical role in helping us achieve our zero vulnerabilities objective. Your primary responsibility will be to assess the real risk of discovered vulnerabilities, and coordinate (often apply) mitigation strategies to ensure a coherent response across our R&D teams.
Here are the key responsibilities you will face in this role:
- Teach DevOps teams how to build, deploy and operate applications in AWS following security best practices, implement Coveo policies.
- Join the Security Champions and Principals at Coveo in ensuring Security by Design and participating in the design decisions for multiple projects in R&D.
- Collaborate with technical teams to implement security best practices and address identified vulnerabilities in existing applications. You will often be invited to contribute to the development of those applications yourself to accommodate the available bandwidth of other teams.
- Utilize many automation tools, including, but not limited to:
- Software Composition Analysis (SCA)
- Static Application Security Testing (SAST)
- Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)
Those tools will provide you intel on which teams to help first, which actions will have the most impacts on our security posture..
- Assist in the development and implementation of security policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. It’s nice to write a policy, but it’s even nicer to be the one actually making it happen.
Here is what will qualify you for the role:
- A strong experience in how to build, deploy and operate applications on top of Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- A strong experience with containers and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Security in both AWS and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in security assessment, vulnerability identification, and risk management.
What would make you stand out:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically and strategically.
- You like Infrastructure as Code because it helps you deploy many times the same applications without doing it manually.
- You possess relevant AWS certifications.
Do you think you can bring this role to life?
You don’t need to check every single box; passion goes a long way and we appreciate that skillsets are transferable.
