Use your database and reporting skills to make an impact in our marketing team!

Our Marketing Operations team is the analytical and data-oriented backbone of our marketing initiatives. They focus on end-to-end marketing optimization which includes everything from planning and budgeting to execution and analysis. As an intern you will maintain infrastructure and processes to support our team’s success.

If you are someone who thrives on data and attention to detail, this is the internship for you!

What your typical day would look like:

  • You start the morning with a team meeting where you share your updates, hear the team’s progress on the different projects and share ideas to elevate each other.
  • You then look at new projects and tasks that have been submitted since the previous day. You review, categorize, and assign all tasks as needed.
  • Following that, you log into Marketo to review daily data cleanup requirements by correcting and augmenting data from our various providers. You look for ways you can further innovate the process.
  • You’re then assigned to identify and resolve data issues within our Marketo and Salesforce databases to help your colleagues be able to use the data.
  • After lunch, you help support other marketing team members with QA, ad hoc reporting requests, documentation, and more.
  • You then meet with your coach to evaluate and test our processes for further development and enhancement. They also take some time to let you shadow what they’re working on.
  • The day is already coming to an end! You spend the rest of your afternoon reviewing the MQL (market qualified leads) dashboard and investigating the quality of the recent leads.

Here’s what will qualify you for the role:

  • You are currently studying Business Technology Management, Information Technology Management, Business or a related program. 
  • You have strong project management and organizational skills.
  • You are comfortable using data to create reports and to solve problems. 
  • You’re process and detail-oriented, ready to bring great ideas, intelligent reasoning, and innovation to improve our processes!
  • You’ve previously worked and/or had projects working with a CRM. You know Salesforce? Even better!

Here’s what will make you stand out:

  • You take initiatives and work independently. 
  • You have the basic knowledge of database management.
  • You have experience/interest with marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Eloqua, Pardot, HubSpot, etc.
