We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial spirit, proven ability to build new relationships and broaden existing ones; indeed you’ll be given all the latitude needed to find creative ways to promote and market Coveo across Salesforce.

The role and responsibilities of a Senior Alliance Manager for Salesforce

 

The Role:

  • You will be empowered to develop and execute programs and activities that will grow brand awareness and effectively articulate our unique business value across the Salesforce ecosystem - with a focus on Service, and Commerce Clouds
  • You’ll leverage your Salesforce network to accelerate Coveo’s influence and mindshare
  • You’ll have a company environment which is hugely supportive of creative thinking
  • You'll travel 30-40% of the time as you need to be omnipresent in Salesforce
  • You'll work closely with our sales, marketing and product teams to effectively manage and grow our Alliance
  • You’ll report directly to the Director, Salesforce Alliance

 

Responsibilities:

  • Consistently engage and speak the language of Salesforce and in particular, relevant stakeholders including sales leadership, AEs, SEs, CSMs, and industry/product leaders 
  • Actively develop plays and strategies to continue amplifying Coveo’s differentiation and value add on top of the Salesforce platform
  • Create new qualified opportunities by working the Salesforce network, everyday
  • Work closely with Coveo + Salesforce AEs as appropriate, to advance the sales cycle on all referred opportunities
  • Responsible for quarterly bookings quota from created / referred opportunities

 

What we are looking for

Our ideal candidate will have a deep, practical understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and a history of developing relationship strategies and executing successful Alliance programs.

The ideal candidate will also have a solid ability to learn new concepts, combined with their experience, to synthesize a go-to-market approach. This position is highly collaborative and fast-paced, requiring dynamism and energy. It will also require agility and flexibility in responding to competing internal and external priorities.

  • A track record of creating and executing successful channel/alliance strategies, winning support from senior management and increasing vendor’s awareness and mindshare within an ecosystem
  • The ability to distill multiple stakeholder needs into an actionable set of priorities and compelling, data-driven arguments
  • The ability to use your influence: you are articulate and your charisma and persuasion skills are well known amongst your network!
  • The ability to speak the Salesforce language
  • You are self-driven with strong communication skills
  • The ability to bring strong team spirit: projects will consistently demand cross functional collaboration and coordination, building relationships with our Salesforce partner team, and our internal customers including C-level executives, sales, marketing, alliances peers and professional services.
