Leverage your customer-service approach in our Legal Compliance team!
Our passionate legal team is looking for a privacy compliance specialist to join its ranks! In this role you will play a key role in operationalizing privacy across Coveo by reporting to the director of legal compliance.
As a member of the Legal Compliance team, you will:
- Ensure the development and the implementation of Coveo’s privacy policies, processes and guidelines in collaboration with internal stakeholders (corporate and product units).
- Draft written and creative narratives to communicate obligations, best practices, risk analysis or recommendations to internal stakeholders (e.g. checklists, FAQs, and other self-service resources).
- Coordinate and lead internal and external privacy and compliance audits and work with external auditors and internal stakeholders to timely address audit findings.
- Help build and conduct privacy and compliance training and awareness for internal stakeholders (legal team, company-wide, specific units like Marketing, R&D, Legal, Security).
What we are looking for
Do you have a proven experience in managing privacy programs and conducting risk-management activities to implement privacy controls in a fast-paced environment? Looks like we have a fit!
Here is what will qualify you for the role:
- At least 3-5 years of experience.
- Knowledge of privacy compliance standards (e.g. ISO 27018, ISO 27701) and relevant data privacy laws in the EU, Canada and the U.S.
- Experience in internal and/or external audits and strong planning and prioritization skills.
What would make you stand out:
- Experience in-house and in the SaaS industry preferred.
- Understanding of risk management concepts.
- Ability to partner with internal stakeholders about regulatory compliance and risk management processes and to drive change.
- Experience in project management.
