Awesome. Hi, everyone. Hi, everyone. I'm, Olivier Bono. I work as a product manager here at Coveo. I'm in charge of the Coveo for workplace kind of business. And today, I will run you through our our road map, what articles feature we're planning to do, in the upcoming quarter. Just so I mean, if you have any questions, feel free to to type them in. I will be my pleasure to answer answer them, at the very end of my presentation. Hope you like the hope you like Relevance three sixty, so far. Let's try to have a a pretty interesting, digital experience now. So let let's start right now. Let's start quickly with, you know, what we call the employees' digital experience. You know, just before going into that the the road map, let's make sure, you know, we kind of lay the ground for, property so we are all in the on the same understanding of what is the digital the digital experience. So, you know, computers are part of our offices for pretty much more than twenty years now. I remember my mother used to have an app enabled Apple two, digital office. And for her, her computer was just kind of a simple office appliance. It was for her to to to to write down text and stuff. And my father used to be a computer scientist, so he had a, eighty eighty six in in his office, and it was kind of his office appliance to actually program and do very old kind of software development. Very old. I mean, that's I'm not that old. But, anyway, the idea here was that computer were sent still central to our offices, but at the end, it was some kind of central appliance that you do only one thing with. When you talk about the current situation, like, I mean, only since last couple of years, I mean, computer usage evolve of being just a mean to do a single flow to pretty much do everything in our daily work, on our computer. So basically the programmers to program, the office assents assistants still write document, but still everyone have Slack, everyone have Spotify open on their second screen. We fill expense reports online. We store our document in g drive. We fill our time sheet in in Workday, and we brainstorm an application like Miro. So and I'm not even talking about, you know, Jira, Confluence, Zoom, etcetera, etcetera. But you got the point. The computer is not anymore just kind a single it isn't it's more than just a single appliance. Pretty much now every employees have their own digital experience. So and there is not so well defined frontier between all of these tools and system that we're using now. I mean, they're all linked together. Some of us prefer working in Chrome, and we use g drive, and other use Concher and etcetera. But depending who you are, every type every kind of employees use different software based on their need and the prefer and preference. So, basically, we all build kind of our own digital experience. So what's the place in Coveo when we we we put all of this altogether? Where Coveo, plays a role here? So, basically, I mean, let's cons let let's let's consider that Coveo is your is the backbone of your workplace ecosystem. Basically, we can connect to and integrate in virtually any of your existing system. We just make them smarter. So we connect to Gidra, we connect to SharePoint, etcetera. So from an from a workspace perspective, we became the content and the relevance backbone of your old, of your old office. If we take a quick step back and just like, and just like, have a quick look at what compose a modern and digital works workplace, as we just said, I mean, people from different department have different needs, and each will use a subset of different type of content. So when you take a when you think about that from a, you know, if when we take a step back, so we have different source of content, Jira, Confluence, Jira, etcetera. But this is only one of the many new feature that the office have. Now, I mean, now we have Slack. So people's, the entry act inside Slack, and this is where we're gonna spend a lot of a lot of our times just working over there. We now have different type of tools, Chrome, Workday, Conker, so on. I'm just it's just an example here. But, basically, these tool, we do not use them very often. I mean, beside Chrome, I gonna be in Chrome for for pretty much one hundred percent of my day. But all of these other tools, we reach them through that browser interface. So it's a pretty central tool to the workplace. And finally, we have engagement platform. I mean, the good old HTML intranet interface in which you could or not find properly what you were looking for, you know, The CEO latest updates, the Christmas vacations, the newsletter. These old HTML infra net are not on par anymore with the expectation of the employee. Just like my my my CEO, Louisa Chu, was saying a bit before, you know, any employees are as welcome consumer. They they they they have a level of expectation in the digital in the digital world now. So the office, the workplace, and the internet need to meet that. So now we have more and more new company that create modern intranet to engage with employees with very advanced portal that are visually beautiful, easy to use. You can personalize them. And I'm just numbing I'm just pointing a few of them here. ServiceNow, Work dot com by Salesforce, You map, Workplace by Facebook, Simpler, Lifestyle. All of these guys, they provide pretty beautiful engagement platform. So when I say that Coveo is the backbone of our office is that we really do play with our technology a central role to integrate in virtually all of these different touch points. So through our platform, we enable your business to gather the content from your different sources. We can redistribute it through all the different tools and the engagement platform that you might be using. So no matter where the employees are, we can bring the content properly and not the opposite. So really, the the whole idea here is to bring the content where the employees are and make sure they have that in a streamlined and and frictionless, fashion. So this is this is for for Coveo. This is for for me and the product team, the vision of the Coveo, the the workplace ecosystem. So, really before going to the roadmap, I just wanted to make sure that we're all in line on what is the state of the modern the modern digital workplace and Alconvo for workplace fit in. So let's start with the road map now, and I'm gonna show you guys couple of new feature that gonna comes along in the next this quarter and too far and so on in the in the next six months. The first one, this is something, let's start with something new. I find this one very interesting, very exciting. It's what we call the Coveo Chrome extension. Basically, this is, as mentioned earlier, the goal here is to make sure that your employees have have access to their Internet content, but as frictionless as possible. So the Kogel Chrome extension connect to your Internet and bring content on demand without having to switch context. Personally, I I spend close to eighty percent of my time in pros because in Chrome because I can access Google because I can access Google Drive, SharePoint, Jira from within the browser interface. The Kavo Chrome extension is accessible within Chrome. It used dedicated machine learning to personalize the content. The UI is fully customizable to match the company look and feel, and it then forced SAML authentication, mechanism. So, basically, with the CoverGirl Chrome extension, any employees can connect to your business intranet from within the browser. It shows just just like on the screen as a little widget that you can open and close. You can configure. You can access, you know, your coworkers' profile. You can access your content, etcetera. So the Coveo chrome extension, it is something that that I find very interesting and and that and it's gonna play a central role a central role into our Coveo for Workplace software. Because, again, using that feature this feature, you reach pretty much fifty percent of all the different, software and application that an employee is gonna use on a daily basis. You're inside concur to you're inside the Concher Concher, well application. I mean, you still have the Google Chrome extension just there to bring back, you know, Coveo or or expenses report or notes that you take and stuff like that. So it's currently available for beta. Some of our clients are already, trying it. They are already beta testing it internally. Big software company, well known, I mean, big global company are using this to actually this is their goal. They they have, like, ten of thousand of employees, and they just want to make sure that anyone can get the access can get access to the the the intranet content as easily as possible. That will be distributed through the Google, to the Google Chrome app store. So, basically, that's gonna be a package that any, company will be able to install inside their, their employees' Chrome, web browser. So this is a very interesting, new feature, and I hope, you guys gonna find it interesting and try to and think to integrate that inside your workplace solution. The other feature, and this one, this is something I really do like as well. This is our new Slack connector. You might know, but Slack, is a pretty central piece of our modern workplace. It's you know, we spend all pretty much all of our time in Slack, chit chatting for for having a little beer after work, to IT support, to pretty much everything in the modern workplace go through Slack. It's a highly dynamic and rich source of information. And the idea here is that would it be possible to bring the content of the most important channel to be accessible all across your digital platform. Again, the idea is to bring the content where the user is and not the other way around. So, of course, you do have Slack, but you do have many other touch points. What it be, would it be pretty interesting to actually bring that content and make it even more accessible? So just a quick example here. Let's say that I'm a developer, and I have some difficulty to use a new facet library. I mean, I can go of course, I can go through my internal Coveo documentation and search for facet date range just like that. But if I actually index Slack, I can use the knowledge of everyone to actually, find an answer to this to this question. So since Slack is being used by everyone, good chance that maybe someone else already asked the same question. So if I search for facet date range and I look into some of the thread, looks like Alexandre Moro already answered this question and actually on the exact topic. So what is really awesome here is not that that I it's not only that I found an interesting thread to read in Slack because I just gonna have to click it. The Slack app gonna open back and, you know, I can carry on in that thread and and and and read the solution here. But moreover, is that Alex seems to be an expert on this on this very topic. So I just found a path of solution and someone that can help me out. So, really, the fact that Slack is buying together the individual and the content in such in such a close way, this is something that, through the Kavo platform, we can, we can leverage quite easily. This connector is actually already available. We just released it. We released it two weeks ago. So for our enterprise client, now you can, if you do have a Slack source, if you do have a a Slack workspace, you can easily create your new source, select the channels in which you would like the Coveo to to to index the content and bring that to to your interface, to your old search ecosystem. So this is a new feature that I'm very, very proud of, and I'm really excited to bring that to you guys. Indexing Slack is only one side of the story, actually. Side might be where I spend a lot of my time, but discussing topic and work related or not inside Slack. But since I spend a lot of time inside this interface, I mean, bringing workplace content such as G Drive, Jira, Salesforce, etcetera, inside the Slack application for easy search and access, that would be very useful as well. So, basically, that's kind of a two way road. You know? We we index the Slack content, but we integrate inside Slack as well. So we're planning to build, and this is a very early mock up, this is an early concept, but we're currently working on a Slack application that will be easy to install from the Slack application marketplace and will be bind to your Coveo platform solution. So, again, we want to make sure that we bring the the content where the user is and not the other way around. So the Slack, the Slack integration should be available early twenty twenty two. That's gonna be open for beta testing as well. But this is another feature that I think makes a lot of sense when you think about the workplace. The whole workplace idea here, it is content. All that it's content at your fingertip. It's not just a single monolithic experience. You have application. You have different touch points. So bringing your own your content inside Slack is something that makes a lot of sense. Let's switch gear now, and and let's go into a more machinery related new concept, workplace components. Basically, workplace search is not only a search of you know, workplace search used to be only a search bar with queries and and results, but it's not that anymore. I don't think it should be only, just type in your result, and we'll try to find you the best document for it. So what I think a workplace search should be is a set of highly personalized recommendation components, such as what are the latest document your team worked on, new people in your department, popular discussion topic, in your coworker, etcetera. Yeah. We need to I mean, we all understand that an intranet intranet knows a lot about an employee. You know? We know who work with who, you know, who's your boss in which department you are, etcetera etcetera. Add all of this knowledge to the relevance equation. And, actually, we know a lot about an employee. Therefore, we can personalize in such meaning and a very, person we can personalize in a view in a in a very powerful way the document and the recommendation we can bring, to a, to a user. So add to that that now because we're indexing Slack, we know who talk with who in which public channel. So, basically, when you blend all of that altogether, Origovio machine learning engine can start to recommend highly relevant and personalized document. And, basically, the idea here is to be to build these little component on top of our new headless and atomic visual library and could be also deployed as a host a prepackaged hosted search page. So the idea here is that maybe one of our customer gonna have, you know, an already premade HTML web page. They just want to bring the Coveo Workplace component into it. So they're gonna use our endless and atomic pre you know, already made library for that. Let's say that an employee do not have any form of of landing page, so we can prepackage one for them, all already configured with, the workplace component. This is something that we're we we were starting starting to build, and we're planning to have the first version of that, by mid twenty twenty two, next year. So that is for our workplace component. Now let's jump in into what we call our net native integrations. As you know, we have native integration, and the matching connector, for ServiceNow, Salesforce, etcetera. So I'm bringing back the the the the ServiceNow idea here is is for the main reason that this, this is what I call by a native integration. Something that we build on top of, the the the the API of these of these big systems. So, basically, the employees portal for ServiceNow, this is something that is available now, and we're gonna add more feature, you know, updates and feature in the upcoming years. But the idea here is that we can have more native integration because we have an agnostic platform that actually gave a pretty powerful rest API. We have prepackaged libraries such as the address library and the atomic components. So based on that, we can now integrate into others' engagement platform such as Lumap. Lumap is, is a platform that helps employee to communicate, engage with their digital workplace. This is it's a beautiful engagement platform. So now we offer a native integration inside their solution, which mean that if you're, you're using LumApps as an intranet portal, actually with the Coveo integration, this search box gonna be powered by Coveo. So any search perform will bring all the content that your your your organization had index inside the Coveo in the Covio platform, but shown within the Lumapps interface. So you search for finance, and the search bar is connected to the Cavo platform. So you're gonna get content but inside the Lumap, the Lumap interface. So here we make sure that we're gonna deliver to an employee the same digital experience from any integration point. Therefore, the document you find in Lumenat will be the same that the one you find in Coveo Chrome extension or in the Slack application or in ServiceNow or any other places in which Coveo is involved. So we offer a streamlined solution here. Speaking of and this is something that we're planning, to release, jointly with Lumap at the end of that year of this year by the end of q four twenty twenty one, later on. I mean, the the the interesting thing is that there is way more there is way more out there, integra engagement platform. So in that case, the solution the LumApps solution was built right on on top of our API. But as you might know, as I I I was saying earlier, I mean, we offer different layers of integration complexity, headless, atomic search page service, the Coveo iPIX, what we call it in product experience. So such flexibilities allow us to integrate Coveo in virtually any other engagement platform out there. For instance, we can use the same type of solution to integrate inside work dot com. We can use the same type of solution, and we already have POC running with this guy at lifestyle. I mean, exactly the same idea that we've done with Lumet. And exactly the same thing can be done with Simpler. I I'm putting these three guy the these three engagement platform, the string here because those are the three that I I know we've been working, working within the last couple of months. So we're just bringing value no matter where the employee is because we are your office backbone. So in a nutshell, if we we summarize all of that, This is really what I mean by Coveo Visual Workplace Backbone. We are a multi touch integration that makes sure that any employees have the right content as frictionless as possible. You know, the search experience is the same all across your digital platform. We provide analytics to to get better understanding of your employees' need. And this is something that we offer, you know, out of the box in our platform. The fact that through Cavio, we're tracking the search and the click and everything that happened, inside your different touch point. Giving you that knowledge, a business owner is now in a position to actually, better understand, is there any friction? Is there any topic or document or, you know, area in his office that that, you know, that that might be, needing a bit more documentation, that might be some that might need some review, etcetera. So, basically, because we bring the right content everywhere, we help the employee to find answer to their questions. We understand better what they're searching for, but because it's a streamlined solution now, the old the the the old point of self-service, is being, you know, augmented inside the Coveo for workplace inside the the your office through the Coveo, platform. And finally, since our platform provide many integration mechanism, we can scale and integrate in pretty much any new application and interface that will be added to your digital workplace. So if on day one, you have Miro and on day two, you need to add Figma and Confluence and Jira, I mean, we're just gonna integrate in, I mean, pretty much out of the box in in all of these different, integration points. So at the end of the day, we provide a streamlined solution, and the whole idea is to bring the content where the employees are and not the other way around. So on this note, I hope you you like this presentation. And I see that we already have couple of questions, that Jordan is feeding me on Slack, actually. So let me let me look into that, first one. So I'm gonna read the the the question here. Do we need to get a separate license for the Chrome extension to be added to our staff? We use Kavo for web search. No. You don't. I mean, when you want to use the Chrome extension, you only need one license. It's called it's actually the product experience license that is required, when you have you pay the license once. And, actually, you can add as many, as many Chrome extension as possible. The only thing that changed though is that depending on how many employee, if you need to change from pro to an enterprise, Coveo solution, this is where the price might be changing. But there is no additional fee per user for the Chrome extension. It's one license fit out. And for any other question, feel free to to reach me by email, and we can have a a deep dive together. The other question is for your Slack connector, can you expand on hybrid indexing? Pretty, sharp highs here because it was on one of my slide, I totally forget to to to mention that. But, actually, hybrid indexing is the notion that, we can pre preload the Coveo index with, with the next part file, basically. The idea the reason why we do that with Slack is that, as we can understand, Slack have thousand of messages being created every every day or pretty much every hour depending on the size of the company. Because of that, usually, Coveo index a source at API level. You know, we call them an an endpoint and we get the the document back, and we put that inside our index. With Slack, there is so much content that actually is very tough for the Slack API, with the trotting involved to actually go back in time. And let's let's start by indexing the last three months. And on day one, I gonna use the API to refresh on top of that. So this is what we call by hybrid indexing the Slack connector. You can give him, an export file from Slack. Let's say that's gonna hold the last three months of Slack conversation, and that will be just, indexed as quickly as possible server side, on our end. And the Coveo index gonna be already preload and the API gonna take over to refresh. So, basically, hybrid indexing is the idea of using both the API and both a Slack expert to actually, kick start the source kick start the source. And the other question that I have here and if you do have other question coming keep that coming. The other one is regarding the Coveo Chrome extension. Can you configure it so it only opens on work related website? Yes. You can. That was actually one of the very first option that we put into this feature. You know, if I'm working in conference and Jira, I'm fine to have the little, you know, Chrome extension button, showing bottom right corner. But if I'm reading the news on CBC or la praise dot com or any other website that I do not wish to be involved in a work related activity, You can configure actually the Chrome extension with a set of domain to load or to hide. So it's any employee can configure the Chrome extension in a way that suit them best. So, again, there is way more configuration mechanism available for that Chrome extension, but, this is one of them.
