Jaina Baumgartner
James Derry

James’ aim in founding Nemetos was to assist companies in understanding the richness and opportunity that the Internet offers and allow them to expand their interaction and create a dialogue with their customers.

Originally an engineer James has always seen technology as the vehicle to a final goal, rather than for the sake of technology itself. In the digital world, technology has become a facilitator to new forms of marketing conversation. The marketing department can gain the independence to create new e-campaigns, keep their brand buoyant, personalize the web experience and track their performance without total reliance on the IT team.

Machine Learning and now Artificial Intelligence offer huge possibilities. Even some very small initiatives allow for the beginnings of “Personalisation at Scale” and its James’ goal to create these opportunities for the clients that Nemetos works with.
