I'm Paula Mitchell, I'm the Digital General Manager at Freedom Furniture. Freedom is a furniture and homewares retailer across Australia and New Zealand. We have 60 stores across both countries. Freedom's been on an amazing journey over the last four years based around a turnaround plan. Every corner of the business has been reimagined, everything from our product catalog through our retailing store experience and reimagining our brand. We used to be known as your mum's brand. Everybody would say all my mum shops there and part of that journey was, you know, changing our strategy to become your best friend's brand. It's everything from how the brand looked and the target demographic that we were going after, and the last pillar in that transformation journey was, around our digital presence, so replatforming onto SAP Commerce and really putting an omnichannel focus at the front of that strategy. Everything we do now from that digital transformation project is all about the customer experience in creating that seamless shopping environment between online and in store. The amazing thing about having an online store is that you can have an endless aisle of product. We opened up a drop ship channel on our website and that saw our product catalog expand from ten thousand products all the way out to forty thousand products in the space of about 18 months. So expanding our catalog out to forty thousand SKUs is seeing, you know, some amazing growth on our online channel but it hasn't come without, you know, some challenges. Product discovery definitely became problematic, making sure the results were relevant. SAP has a search engine called Solar. We kind of utilized that to its maximum capacity, so we had to go outside and find a a partner to work with us who was more of an expert in the field. Straight away, we knew Coveo was the right partner for us. The conversations in the room, their passion for e-commerce, their passion for AI, we knew they were going to be able to, you know, push our boundaries and point us in the right direction to make sure this experience was great. They're an SAP partner, so the integration path to launch was really seamless and quite smooth. For phase one, we're using Coveo across our search box, providing, you know, relevant search results, relevant product recommendations, and it's taken over all the automation of the merchandising of our list of pages. So not only providing customers with some great results, but saving our merchandising digital team a huge amount of time in not having to manual merchandise anymore. We've only been live for four weeks. We're really excited for what we've seen so far. Most exciting statistics we can pull from the data so far is we're seeing a fifteen percent uplift in interaction with our search box, which we haven't seen in the four years since our transformation. And customers who are interacting with that search box, their average order value was five point five percent higher than customers who aren't interacting. So we're really excited for these early results and looking forward to the next phase of rollout and what it can bring for Freedom. So now that phase one is up and running, you know, we're turning our focus as to what's next, and we're definitely looking to, you know, enrich that customer discovery part even further. We're starting to index our help content, our knowledge base of blog content, and even our customer service content so customers can come on and ask natural language questions. So we're able to provide these answers in a Q and A style format direct to the customer when they're entering that in the search box. So that's the next phase on our roadmap. Coveo have been amazing to work with. The team are friendly, engaging, they're passionate about the e-commerce space. When we get in a room with them to ideate or to brainstorm, you know, those conversations are engaging and we're really looking forward to building that partnership out and working forward with them in the future.
