    System Requirements

    Expresso must be installed on a server that is a ‘member of a Windows domain’. Expresso cannot be installed on a domain controller.

    Expresso free version requires a permanent connection to the Internet to receive license keys. These are renewed every seven days. Expresso will go offline and Users will be unable to perform searches if the license keys are not renewed.

    Hardware for Server Environment

    • Dual 2.0 GHz or better processors or a Virtual Machine (VM) with two cores (supported virtualization: VMWare, Microsoft Hyper-V)
    • 1.5 GB of RAM
    • 150 MB disk space to install Coveo Expresso
    • Disk space for the search index varies based on the size of the original documents. Rule-of-thumb: allow for 50% of the size of the original documents
