Incorrect Command Line Parameters

Applies To: CES(S) 3.7

Symptoms

· Installation program raises dialog:
“Incorrect command line parameters. Windows Installer v2.00.2600.2”
and exits.

· Host system can be Windows 2000 SP3

Cause

Coveo requires a Windows Installer version more recent than v2.00.2600.2.

Solution

Upgrade Windows Installer. At the time of writing, the download link was: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=5fbc5470-b259-4733-a914-a956122e08e8&DisplayLang=en
