CES040415-10: Internet Information Services (IIS)
This article explains what Internet Information Services (IIS) is, and provides information on how to install it.
Coveo Enterprise Search is a Web-based application. This means that the interfaces (Administration Tool and Search Interface) can only run on a Web server. Therefore, you need to install the Internet Information Services (IIS) Web Server.
IIS is Microsoft's Web server application. It is provided with Microsoft Windows, is free to use and allows your computer to act as a Web server to host the Coveo Enterprise Search interfaces.
If you are unfamiliar with Internet Information Services Web Server (configuration or installation), contact your system administrator prior to proceeding with the installation of Coveo Enterprise Search.
