Louis Têtu is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Coveo. Prior to Coveo, Louis co-founded Taleo Corporation, the leading international provider of cloud software for talent and human capital management, acquired by Oracle for $1.9B in 2012. Louis held the position of Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors from the company's inception in 1999 through 2007. Taleo was recognized as the 11th fastest growing technology company in the United States within the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 in 2004, and in 2005 it was the only software company among the Inc. 500 winners to issue an Initial Public Offering.

Prior to Taleo, Louis was President of Baan SCS, the supply-chain management solutions group of Baan, a global enterprise software company with more than 5,000 employees. This followed Baan's acquisition of Berclain Group inc., which he co-founded in 1989 and where he served as president until 1996. Louis is an Engineering graduate from Laval University of Canada in 1985 and in 1997 was honored by Laval for his outstanding social contributions and business achievements. He also received the 2006 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year award in the Technology and Communication category.

Louis is also Chairman of the Board of PetalMD, a developer of social platforms for the medical sector, and serves on the Board of the Quebec City international airport authority. Louis is involved in private equity within technology, infrastructure projects within emerging countries, education and high school reinsertion for children from financially challenged families. Outside of his professional career, Louis is a commercially licensed helicopter pilot, a skier, a wine and travel enthusiast, and lives in Quebec with his wife and their three children.

Laurent Simoneau is President and CTO of Coveo, and is considered one of industry’s top enterprise search experts. Prior to Coveo, Laurent was CTO of Copernic, an early leader in desktop search, where he oversaw the company’s product strategy and directed the research and development of core technologies. Laurent also served as Chief Operating Officer at Copernic during which he successfully orchestrated the spin-off of the company’s enterprise search division in 2005 into what is now Coveo.

Laurent is a graduate of Université du Quebec, where he holds an MBA degree. He resides in Quebec City with his wife and children.

Guy Gauvin is COO of Coveo. Prior to Coveo, Gauvin worked for more than 10 years at Taleo, the leading international provider of cloud software for talent and human capital management, acquired by Oracle in 2012, where he was an officer. Jean Lavigueur, CA is Coveo's Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Coveo, Jean co-founded Taleo Corporation, the leading international provider of cloud software for talent and human capital management, acquired by Oracle in 2012, where he held the position of Chief Financial Officer from its inception in 1999 through 2005. He also held the role of Vice President, Finance. Jean is a graduate of Laval University, where he holds a degree in Business Administration. He has also been a Chartered Accountant since 1986. Jean is an avid tennis player, bicycler and hockey player. He resides in Quebec with his wife and three children.

Richard Tessier serves as Coveo's Senior Vice President of Products. With 20 years of experience in the search industry, Richard has a keen understanding of how search can improve business processes and outcomes and has applied this knowledge to developing award-winning applications that change the very nature of work.

Prior to his role at Coveo, Richard was Director of Software Development at Copernic, an early leader in desktop search, where he oversaw the enterprise software division. In 2004, he played a key role in the successful spin-off of this division into what is now Coveo.

Richard received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Laval University in Quebec. He lives in Quebec with his wife and three daughters. Richard enjoys sports and the outdoors and plays tennis and basketball and enjoys backpacking and snowshoeing trips across Quebec's backcountry.

Marc Sanfaçon serves as Coveo's Senior Vice President of Technology. With more than 20 years of experience in application development, much of it in search, Marc also is responsible for Coveo’s cloud operations. Marc is at the center of changing the nature of work by developing apps that make search pervasive throughout organizations.

Previously, Marc held the role of Director of Technologies for Copernic, an early leader in desktop search, where he directed the development efforts for the company's core search technologies.

Prior to joining Copernic, he held the role of Senior Software Developer with the Berclain Group Inc., a leading provider of supply chain management solutions.

Aside from his professional interests, Marc enjoys technology and sports, specifically water skiing, soccer and golf in the summer and skiing in the winter. He lives in Quebec with his wife and two children.

Diane Berry is Senior Vice President of Market Strategy at Coveo. Diane joined Coveo in 2009 and previously served as Senior Vice President, Global Marketing of Coveo.

Diane has more than 20 years of experience in high-growth, innovative B2B technology companies serving Fortune 1000 and mid-market organizations; and in publishing and advertising. Prior to Coveo, Diane was Senior Vice President, Marketing and Advisory Board Chair at Taleo, a leading workforce management cloud solutions provider acquired by Oracle in 2012 and which had its Initial Public Offering on NASDAQ in 2005. She has also served as Chair of the Advisory Board and Chief Marketing Officer of SelectMinds, a corporate social networking solutions provider, also acquired by Oracle; and Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Strategy Officer of Smyth Solutions, a provider of cloud-based accounts receivable and credit applications. Diane has also served as an executive in the publishing industry with both Ziff Davis and Journal Register Company.

Diane resides with her husband and assorted horses and dogs on their farm in New Jersey; she is a passionate equestrian and competes in the discipline of eventing.

He is passionate about the potential of cloud-based search to change how companies do business, and he puts to work his significant sales leadership experience to help drive Coveo’s rapid sales growth.

Prior to Coveo, Bob was Vice President of Sales for DocuSign where he led the Enterprise, National Accounts and Public Sector teams to more than 5X revenue growth. Prior to DocuSign, Bob was Group Vice President of Human Capital Management for Oracle where he led sales for Peoplesoft, Taleo, JD Edwards and Fusion HCM. Prior to Oracle’s acquisition of Taleo, Bob served as Vice President of Enterprise Sales for North America where he oversaw sales, pre-sales and operations for Taleo’s fastest growing business segment.

Dominic Lajoie serves as Senior Vice President of Global Services at Coveo. In this role Dominic helps Coveo customers change the nature of work, for all of their customer engagement lifecycles, from the first customer engagement via personalized website search to empowering sales, customer service & field support with proactive insights to helping all employees upskill at the moment of need with search. Prior to joining Coveo, Dominic spent more than 10 years as a strategic consultant for CGI and Fujitsu in various management roles, helping organizations, such as Microsoft, Boeing, Russell Investments Group and State Government agencies, build innovative business solutions with leading technology.

Prior to Coveo, Eric co-founded Copernic, where he headed product strategy for 12 years. He was instrumental in building Copernic’s 30M+ user base and creating its award-winning web search products. As EVP and company officer until 2008, Eric successfully managed Copernic’s private label partnerships with major industry players such as AOL, Orange and T-Online.

In 2010, he launched Wallcast, a social photo sharing service, which garnered rave reviews in over 30 countries. From 2011 to 2012, Eric was VP Products at Mirego, a mobile application development agency, where he directed mobile product strategy and design for major accounts in the media, educational, financial, and retail markets.

Benoit Leclerc is Vice President of Strategic Accounts at Coveo. Benoit’s role is to assist Coveo’s sales team with select accounts that require special attention due to their size, complexity, or strategic nature for the company. Prior to Coveo, Benoit was Vice President of International Sales at Taleo Corporation, the leading international provider of cloud software for talent and human capital management, where he helped build the company’s business in all regions.

Benoit has also been Managing Director for the Eastern Region of SAP Canada. His experience is complemented by the various roles he held with other best-of-breed applications and companies in the supply chain management and system integration sectors.

Benoit holds a Civil Engineering degree from Montreal University. Outside of work, he is a fan of home renovation projects and is a still-busy father of three young adults.

Prior to joining Coveo, Jennifer was Founder and Principal of Okas Consulting, a global consulting practice and former Coveo partner. Jennifer has also held executive roles as a change agent who significantly improved the customer experience at Yahoo, Quest Software (Dell) and Cognos (IBM).

Jennifer has deep knowledge and expertise in Analytics, Customer Experience, Support, Self-Service, and Knowledge Management. She is a certified KCS Practitioner, Trainer and active industry contributor.

Gauthier is passionate about using technology to improve customers’ and people’s lives. Sawan Deshpande is Vice President, Salesforce Line of Business at Coveo. He joined Coveo in 2013 and previously served as Director, Global Sales Engineering. An experienced leader in sales engineering and product management for software applications, Sawan held various roles at Oracle and was Sales Architect, Emerging Products at Salesforce before joining Coveo.

Sawan has a consistent track record in building and selling best-in-class software products. He was part of oDesk’s executive team that successfully raised $8M Series B funding from Benchmark Capital and was part of the founding technical sales team at LiveOps.

Lawrence Pentland is a former executive at Dell Inc. where he led the Americas International division with full P&L responsibility for operations spanning 40 countries and five thousand employees, including manufacturing operations in Brazil. During his 10 years at Dell, revenues in his division grew from $750 million to $4.6 billion.

Prior to joining Dell, Lawrence held various industry roles and was a partner at Bain & Company Consulting in Boston and Toronto serving Fortune 500 companies in North America and internationally on issues of strategy, manufacturing and performance improvement. He is now a private investor in emerging technology companies.

Lawrence has also served as a Director at Telus Inc. and currently serves on several private technology company boards as well as on the Board Research Committee at the University Health Network in Toronto.

Lawrence holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree in Honors Business Administration from the Ivey School, University of Western Ontario. He is married and has three children.

Howard has previous experience on the boards of seven private and publicly held companies in the high tech marketplace. He has served on both Audit and Compensation Committees for TSX and NASDAQ-listed companies, and is considered an expert in board governance and effectiveness.

Howard was President of Solect Technology Group, (billing, customer care and service management software for the telecommunications industry), where he helped orchestrate the sale of the company to Amdocs Inc., a world leader in customer management billing systems. The transaction (US$1.2B) was the largest ever for a private Canadian software company.

Prior experience includes a variety of senior and global executive management positions at PeopleSoft, Inc., that included responsibility for all the company’s revenue streams. During his tenure, PeopleSoft revenue grew from <$100M to $1.3B. Prior to PeopleSoft, he held senior positions in sales, marketing and operations at IBM and Xerox.

Alberto Yépez is a Managing Director of Trident Capital. He joined the Coveo board in July of 2008. He has more than 25 years of experience in growing innovative, industry-leading technology companies. He is an experienced investor and serial entrepreneur, actively investing in IT Security, Enterprise Software and Mobility.

Alberto is Chairman of the Board of AlienVault, Mocana Corporation and Neohapsis, serves on the boards of AirTIght Networks, BlueCat and HyTrust and was an observer on the Qualys (QLYS) Board of Directors. In addition to his board work on behalf of Trident, Alberto serves on the Board of Trustees of the University of San Francisco and is Chairman of the Hispanic IT Executive Council (HITEC).

Alberto’s past Directorships include Solera Networks (acquired by Blue Coat Systems), enCommerce (acquired by Entrust), Entrust (ENTU - acquired by Thoma Bravo), Third Brigade (acquired by Trend Micro), Thor Technologies (acquired by Oracle) and Vitria (VITR - taken private).

Prior to Trident, Alberto was a serial entrepreneur with a successful track record in building global businesses and leading them to successful exits. In addition, Alberto worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Warburg Pincus, served as Executive Chairman of a Bain Capital portfolio company, and was a consultant to the US Department of Defense as part of the DeVenCI Initiative. Leo was formerly Business Technology Officer of CA Technologies, where he led the transformation of product teams, dramatically simplifying management systems, integrating people, processes, and technology to align with innovation objectives and market velocity. Also during his tenure with CA, Leo served as Corporate SVP, Support Services, and SVP, Customer Support. Before joining CA in 2005, Leo had served since 1988 with IBM in a number of roles, most recently as Director of Application Services (IBM Global Services), responsible for business unit application development portfolios ranging from $50M to $130M, and as Head of Aetna Application Development, where he transformed the 1,500-employee Aetna application development organization, managing a portfolio of 700+ applications.
